Goa is one of the best tourist destinations in India. everyone wants to go to GOA once in a lifetime. But due to busy life schedule, we cant give proper time to explore whole GOA.
In this article, I will give you tips/itinerary to explore goa in 3 days. It will cover almost all goa just follow these suggestions. let’s start
our journey of goa in 3 days start with 1 st day morning.

Goa in 3 days lets begin-


This is the day 1 in goa in 3 days plan.

1.Mangeshi Temple:

Mangeshi Temple

This temple is one of the largest and most frequently visited temples in GOA.

The main temple is dedicated to Bhagavan Manguesh, an incarnation of Shiva.

21 km from Panjim and 26 km from margaon

The main annual festival of the temple is held during the Magha Purnima, which is towards the end of February every year.

The Ratha Yatra i.e. the pulling of the chariots, which is the main event during the festival, attracts thousands of pilgrims and tourists.

During the festival, the deity is decorated with a special royal look and taken around the village pulled by pilgrims on a chariot.

There is also a unique Deepastambha, which is a 7 story octagonal lamp tower, painted white with golden arches.

2.Mahalasa Temple:

Mahalasa is identified with Mohini, the female avatar of the god Vishnu.

Mahalasa is considered as both female (as Mohini) and male (as a form of Vishnu).

The temple has a canteen which is run by the workers. After the morning and evening, aarti the Prasad- the holy meal is served here.

On Sunday Palakhi Seva is performed

The Magha Jatra (festival) at the temple and Navaratri (a festival dedicated to the Hindu goddess) are the main annual temple celebrations.

3.Shantadurga Temple:

The temple is dedicated to Shantadurga, the goddess who mediates between Vishnu and Shiva.

The highlight of the temple is its golden palanquin (palkhi) in which the deity is carried on festive occasions(only 5 Mahapanchmi)

4.Old Goa Churches:


*St. Francis of Assisi church-old Goa Churches

This Church was built in 1661 by the Portuguese.

Good condition but the old church must watch this.

*Basilica of Bom Jesus

(This is one of the oldest churches in Goa and in India)
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The basilica holds the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier.

Construction work on the church began in 1594. The church was consecrated in May 1605

The Basilica of Bom Jesus is more than 408 years old and is open to the public every day.

The body of St. Francis Xavier is in a well-decorated casket. Solemn exhibitions of the ‘body’ are held every ten years.

5.Panjim City:

Panjim city

It is capital of Goa.

6.Miramar Beach(***)

It is one of the two only beaches in Panjim, other being Caranzalem beach.

Many people, mostly tourists, come to this beach every day

7.Dona Paula:

The place is named after Paula Amaral Antonio de Souto Maior, a historical figure in Portuguese India. She was the daughter of the Portuguese Viceroy of Jaffnapatnam, in Sri Lanka.
She and her family arrived in Goa in 1644 and she married a Fidalgo from Spain in 1656. Her husband was Dom Antonio Souto Maior.

They were an extremely affluent family, and the entire property from the present day Cabo Raj Nivas all the way to Caranzalem belonged to the Souto Maior’s. She died on December 21, 1682.

It is today home to the National Institute of Oceanography

2nd largest city in Goa

you will visit Damodar temple and church present here.

2.Colva Beach:

Colva Beach stretches for around 2.4 kilometers.

It is a famous tourist attraction.

this one too has got a number of water sports

The tourist industry is well developed with many budget hotels, guest houses, beach shacks, food stalls, small restaurants and pubs, and bars.

The beach is monitored by lifeguards

3. Majorda Beach:

Majorda beach is one of the best beaches for leisure activities including shopping, strolling, binge drinking, and sightseeing.

Like most of the Goan beaches, this one too offers water sports activities including surfing, skiing, snorkeling, Paragliding, parasailing, banana ride.

4.Agonda Beach:

6.Palolem Beach:

1. Candolim Beach:

Candolim too is a popular tourist destination especially for newlyweds.Famous for foreigners.

You can do water sports activities like jet skiing, catamaran sailing, banana rides, surfing, banana rides, bump rides, parasailing and paragliding.

In winters around December, SUNBURN FESTIVAL is celebrated on Candolim beach for 3 days.

Nightlife is one thing which almost every visitor to Candolim beach loves to do.

2.Aguada Fort:

The fort was constructed in 1612 to guard against the Dutch and the Marathas.

Portuguese lighthouse, Built-in 1612, it was once the grandstand of 79 cannons.

It has the capacity of storing 2,376,000 gallons of water, one of the biggest freshwater storages of the time in the whole of Asia.

3.Arambol (Harmal) Beach:
